A little about me, my name is April Keller. I am a lifelong Alaskan who moved to Wisconsin via a 14-month detour in Colorado. I have been a single mom for 20+ years; homeschooled my children for 15+ years, while working full-time from home. For many years, I couldn’t imagine working any other way than from home. But life changes. Now, my son is married, has graduated from college, and is in the military; while my daughter is in her senior year of college & working. In May 2020, I finished my BA in Graphic Design, and have been working full-time outside of the home since December 2019.
Life continues to be busy, full, and very blessed.
What I really enjoy is creating – in a variety of ways. Mostly I love to put words, colors & fonts together – to make words & information pretty – whether it’s for print or web.
Besides spending time with my children & creating graphics – I spend my free time reading, sewing, painting (the kind on doors/furniture/walls), and my most recent favorite – taking photographs. I don’t like editing photos (unless it’s to completely remove something – such as a wayward branch or telephone/electrical wires), so my goal is to take photographs as I actually see with my eyes or look for what I have in my mind.
